Purdy

Just had to show a picture of my roving all dressed up and ready to hit the town (i.e. - braided). I can't wait to get to Sam's, get more vinegar, and get back home to dye some more!

Be sure to check out all of my new roving selections in my shop.

Also, if fiber is your thing, you can find loads of blog posts filled with fiber goodness over here at the Fiber Arts Friday Blog Carnival. Enjoy :)

You know what, I have no idea what it is. I didn't even know my little bushes would bloom and berry (the blue berries). Those came with the house. :o) Let me tell you about that flower bed. It was a hot mess by the time we moved in. They had planted some flowers that had outgrown the soil. In addition to that, it was filled with weeds and grass. I was all dopey and decided I would pull it all instead of spraying it dead. I did that for literally a month. It was out of control. BUT now there are only a few weeds that pop up every now and then. I can handle that. I planted the flowers before some family came to visit in October. So, it's taken like 5 months for the to bloom. Winter flowers my bottom!

You're just so mother naturey! I'm jealous. I fight daily to keep these bad boys alive. lol

What absolutely gorgeous colors. I need to learn to dye, but I'm afraid I really don't know where to start. You do a fantastic job!
