How did she know I just got the new catalog yesterday and was aching for some new James Avery?My plans for my birthday include Thanksgiving dinner with the family, a few glasses of white wine, and hopefully a good handful of sales on Etsy since I'm having a sale... but we'll see.

I did a double-take when I read the line about, "I hope everyone in the states..." I read that and thought, "When did Erin leave the country?" I'm such a dork.

The first time I went to Paris (okay, the only time I've been to Paris) was for Thanksgiving. We hung out with a bunch of American students while we were there, so we were planning a bit Thanksgiving feast. It really blew my mind when we walked by a school playground on Thanksgiving and there were kids... at school. It took me a minute. I was only 10 years old, so I have an excuse.
