It makes me giggle because we used to live in snow country before we moved here, but at the same time, it's perfectly fine by me that people who don't know how to get around in that stuff, just stay home. Makes us all safer and happier in the end. :)

Here'here for snow days! And send some my way would ya? I don't miss the bitter cold endless days of winter, but I do love snow. ♥Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7958579606340813480.post-91009111513838807262010-01-31T11:58:42.698-06:002010-01-31T11:58:42.698-06:00I love the mix of comments here! Occasionally it is recommended that you, "not drive unless absolutely neccessary!" At any rate, lower michigan gets both extremes of the weather spectrum and boy do the old people gripe no matter what the weather is like. :) enjoy the snow you southern lady! at least it is pretty.emilyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04354297544038481609noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7958579606340813480.post-61060091558368174242010-01-31T10:42:05.902-06:002010-01-31T10:42:05.902-06:00Well, this transplanted Northerner certainly enjoy...Well, this transplanted Northerner certainly enjoyed her snow day. And yes, I find it interesting and conversation-worthy that winter weather is SUCH a big deal down here, but hey, I grew up where winter lasts for 9 months. And yes, I will complain when it's 98 degrees in the shade this summer. It's just what we grumpy Yankees do.Jodihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08513414391068057176noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7958579606340813480.post-75059034921493195462010-01-31T10:34:49.894-06:002010-01-31T10:34:49.894-06:00and Halleluiah! To which I respond, "are you nuts?" I've been in jammies for going on three days, and I'm perfectly okay with that.

(I do love the mild summers of Nova Scotia though...)Junque Rethunquehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07670510181195435203noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7958579606340813480.post-3793904090991119052010-01-31T10:01:55.720-06:002010-01-31T10:01:55.720-06:00Amen!!! We got nowhere NEAR 7 inches of snow down here, and we gladly took our snow day!

And can I add with the few days of snow/ice that we can expect per year, our cities don't have the equipment they have up north for removing said snow/ice from the streets.Annehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00317150870888315110noreply@blogger.com
